An American citizen resident in Rio de Janeiro for the past 10 years, Bo Anderson is a sound mixer specializing in documentaries and music.
He is experienced working in the studio (has a well-equipped Pro Tools set up) and on location (has his own sound kit).
He has captured location sound on shoots documenting rubber tappers in the Amazon, kite makers in Gujarat, recorded interviews in remote villages in Senegal and covered environmental issues in Rio. He has set up makeshift recording studios in Morocco, Mozambique and Ethiopia to collaborate with local musical talent.
His musical productions have been released on Soot Records (Spain), PostWorld Industries (U.S.A.) and Tru-Thoughts (U.K.).
Aside from his far flung travels, he is very familiar with Rio de Janeiro, speaks fluent English and Portuguese and is available for national and international productions.
